The 3-sentence formula.
Three sentences take about 20–30 seconds. That is enough for a short-reaction question.
Two-part questions. *En** wat doet u zelf graag in het weekend?* Answer part 1, then say "Zelf…" or "Ik…" and answer part 2.
Describing a photo. Start big, then go small: Op de foto zie ik… (who/where). De man… (what he does). Use aan het + infinitive if you know it: Ze is aan het koken.
Don't know a word? Say it another way: not "de vaatwasser" but "de machine voor de borden". Or use a general word: een ding, een soort tas. Keep talking: silence costs more than a small mistake.
Use the time. Start speaking after the beep, speak calmly and clearly, and stop when you have said your three sentences. You do not need to fill the whole minute.
Students record each answer (phone voice memo or the iOS app), listen back, and tick the checklist. Pro students send the recordings to their teacher.
Prompt 1 · Video.
Gaat u zitten! Kan ik u helpen met uw koffer? Hij is vast zwaar.
Prompt 2 · Foto.
