Short Course: Vocabulary & Basics A1

This course is perfect for A1 students. As an A1 student, you already know some vocabulary and sentences for very basic conversation. In this course we will start working towards A2 level, expanding vocabulary and practice forming sentences.

Main content in English

In this course you will:

  • Learn vocabulary about specific topics (travelling, in the shop, cooking, health, etc.)

  • Receive a small article or dialogue to prepare vocabulary before every lesson.

  • Learn and practice basic rules and word types (pronouns, adjectives, asking questions, etc.)

  • Do tiny role plays (at the market, in the gym, etc.)

  • Get to know other Dutch learners.

  • Gain confidence speaking.

  • Be guided by a professional Dutch teacher.

A1.a, A1.b, A1.c

There are three A1 courses: A1.a, A1.b, A1.c. These three courses contain different material. They don't have to be followed in order. Contact the teacher if you are not sure which one you have attended. Check the open groups below to see which courses are available now.

Material: all material is included

Group size: min 4 and max 6 students. Instructions will be sent to you in advance to ensure a great lesson experience! Suitable for A1 students. Be aware that A1 students already have some very basic knowledge of the language. This course is not suitable for complete beginners.

  • Perfect to support preparation for inburgeringsexamen

  • Perfect short course to try out what group lessons are like

Length: 6 lessons, once per week, 60 minutes.

Meetings will be on Zoom. Students receive a Zoom-link half an hour before the lesson.
