Les 1 - TE
There are a few reasons to use TE. We start with an easy one: Om + te for action + goal. Note that you'll have to use OM in this construction.
Les 2 - TE
Here's the second reason to use TE: when you use an adjective and that adjective gives value to the action that follows, you use TE. OM is optional.
Les 3 - TE
Why do some verbs (like proberen, hoeven or beloven) trigger TE? And are there also auxiliary verbs that don't trigger TE?

In a previous lesson, you've learned OM is optional in sentences connected to an adjective (lesson 2). But in one case, that is different.
