A2 conversagtionI found the course really good. Ida is a great teacher. She corrects in an instructful way what you said by typing the conversations in the chat, so you can study them after. And she is not seeking perfection which paralyzes. The participants can suggest topics based on their preferences which is nice and difficult concepts are explained very well.

Put it into practice A2 This is the best Dutch language course I have taken, and I wish I had found it sooner rather than having wasted my money elsewhere. Ida knows her stuff and never makes you feel nervous about participating during the lessons. Her explanations are clear and timely. I will be signing up for another course after the Summer Holidays.

Individual lessonsIk ben altijd al een taalfanaat geweest. Nadat ik bijna 3 maanden alleen Nederlands studeerde, was het tijd om een leraar te vinden om sneller vooruitgang te boeken. En zo vond ik Ida. Haar lessen zijn goed gestructureerd en toch flexibel. Ze hielp me om mijn zwakke punten in de grammatica te verbeteren zonder het ritme van onze dialogen te verliezen. Ida’s belangstelling voor verschillende onderwerpen en haar enthousiasme maakte het hele proces leuk en interessant. Ook lette ze op mijn uitspraak. Dit is in het Nederlands niet altijd makkelijk en als je niet constant gecorrigeerd wordt dan loop je het risico om op de lange termijn altijd dezelfde fouten te maken. Als ik zulke leraren had gehad voor de anderen talen die ik nu spreek zou ik mezelf door de jaren heen veel tijd hebben bespaart! Ik beveel Ida ten zeerste aan als lerares Nederlands.

B1 Grammar BoostIk heb van de cursus genoten en ik heb veel nieuwe dingen geleerd. Mijn grammatica was niet zo goed en ik voel nu dat het beter is. Ik vind de onderwijstechniek leuk om de grammatica te oefenen.
- 15 hours of lessons in a small group, spread over 10 lessons (of 1.5 hours each).
- All material is included. Before each lesson you will get an explanation + exercises + answers, so you can prepare for the lesson if you like.
- This course is all about learning the rules and practicing with them. We will have fun conversations in which you will get used to certain constructions.
- Some of the things we will do during the course*:
- word order! You'll get a grip on it.
- wrap your head around ZOU.
- understand the most common reasons to use TE.
- distinguish different types of ER.
- practice perfectum and imperfectum.
- Learn all about the verb WORDEN and how to use passive sentences.
- In the last lesson, we'll reflect on all what we've learned.

+Each day we have a lesson (you will see it depending on the group you join) you will receive a Zoom link 30 mins before the lesson. When you click the link you will join a zoom call with your teacher and colleagues to have your lesson!Can I pay by transfer?

+I am a professional Dutch teacher, living in Amsterdam. I used to teach Dutch at a school in the Netherlands, but I moved to Spain in 2017 (and back to Amsterdam in 2020), which made me explore the possibilities to teach Dutch offline and online. I have given over 2500 online Dutch lessons. I am still learning Spanish myself and I know the process is long and difficult at times, but I enjoy the little moments of success. The feeling that conversations get more and more natural is really rewarding. In my free time I enjoy running, reading, spending time with family and friends and cooking (+ eating ;).I don't know what I need to work on. Is that a problem?
+Absolutely not. In private lessons I will quickly get an idea of your needs and will share my opinion with you, giving you clear tips to get your Dutch to the next level. In conversation lessons, you will get lots of opportunities to practice your speaking skills. In the structured group lessons I will make sure every student gets the support he or she needs and I will give you personal feedback outside the lessons too.I want to combine our lessons with self study, is that possible?
+Of course. Especially private lessons and structured group lessons go well with self study. Homework is included in packages and it will be completely tailored to your needs. In the structured group lessons, we will work with a book. Certain exercises are perfect for self-study. I will indicate which ones and give feedback and support, also outside the lessons.I am not sure about my level. What do I do?
+If you have followed Dutch courses before, you can start where you left off. So if you, for example, passed an A2 exam, you can move on working from A2 to B1. You can always send an email if you are in doubt. I will then help you decide which course fits you best. For private lessons, your level doesn’t matter. I will always tailor the material to your needs, whether you are a beginner or working towards C1.Do you have any other doubt?
